BTW, I think you did a great job at making my point. The whole point of my message about "everyone hating me because I suck" was to let Raul know that there are other people out there who have feelings of inadequacy. Oftentimes, though, those feelings are not shared by those whom you project those feelings on. In other words, I feel like I suck so I imagine that everyone else feels that way about me too. The thoughts may be true to some extent (you may suck a little), but those feelings are often only self-validated. This is not to say that everyone is able to overlook our flaws, it just says that people who are focused on God are better able to see the good in us. They see what is special about you, not the hurt person who does harm to his or her own self-concept. Does that make any sense?

The fact that people keep interrupting your conversations with Kristi should be evidence of the fact that people enjoy your company. I guess it goes to show you that we all have our insecurities that we struggle with.
