Apparently, I met Richard at Java, but I don't remember. We saw each other many times, in lots of situations, and we talked, but we didn't really KNOW each other, we were GETTING to know each other. I believe that God uses the church to teach us his love and also how much the humans that make it up are in need of Him. I thank Him that he uses blue-haired old ladies and bands like Stryper, depending on our needs. He's pretty flexible in His effort to show us Himself. And yes, He hides behind a veil, "Trysting," if you will (I really like that imagery, Bill!). Because we are so limited in our understanding of all He wants to show us.

yeah, Stryper was like my first awareness of christians
