I actually remembered the song. I just wasn't thinking. I was conceived AND born in 1967. I am from the 60's. It's strange now. I remember when everyone used to sit around and talk about Sid & Marty Krofft, and everone knew the topic and had these elaborate lists of show titles they had committed to memory. Or maybe we'd sit around digging up 80's one hit wonders. Now, sometimes I'll be in a group where these scenarios are impossible. I have to remind myself that I was a witness to the birth of Nikelodeon, but I'm was not raised on it. I was raised on The Muppet Show. The soundtrack of my childhood was not Pink, or even the Back Street Boys. For me it was K.C. and the Sunshine Band and Peaches & Herbs.
