James 1:5-6 --
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed."

We are not the ones to ask -- ask him.

Note that the above response was the one given to me when I saw your post.
I also wanted to add my own personal response:
My church teaches that you temporarily lose touch with God when you are in need of repentance. And it is not always abvious what the cause of this need is...Maybe you have not done anything that is obviously the problem. But when you feel lost and alone, as you are describing, this is frequently the problem.
I would look into your heart to figure out what is troubling you, pray for guidance, and try to move beyond whatever is troubling you. A big part of moving beyond problems is forgiving yourself for having had them in the first place. I have only talked with you briefly, but I can see the tendency in yourself to lack this self-forgiveness.
So it may sound like a hokey answer, but I think the basics of prayer, repentance, and forgiveness will bring you back to where you want to be,

With Love,
