Just please be nice to mothers (parents) who choose alternative Halloween activities for their kids. They might be really doing what they feel is right out of sincere motivations of love. It is possible. It might not be legalism on their part.

i was not being mean..i was misinterpreted and was accused of being judgemental..what i was trying to imply is that i see either one as fine and as equal..and i am glad i had the opportunity to celebrate halloween as a kid..that does not make my childhood bringing better i am just grateful.

If it is legalism, it is the church's fear-based teachings on Halloween that promote it. This is the church's suckteriology, and it is suckstantially flawed, but the parents who are trusting their suckterian leaders are just trying to avoid suckrilege, embrace Christian sucksiety, and suckcede in raising good kids.
No doubt someone will punish me by adding to this suckening suckcession.
who mentioned the church and its flaws? i surely did not. i did not mention anything to be legalistic but alas this post will probly be deleted as well. i don't think i will be heard but in all honesty i was not tryin to judge..kat,bill,steve and others i hope you see that.
