I was reading Bill's stuff below and thinking of how cool it is and what it meant and how a good thread can go for so long, restart and go again.
But then it hit me. And of course my opinion means nothing, but here it is. Many of us have been looking at our relationships and seeing the vast connectedness and how God has been active in our lives in real ways. This is something that has the potential to be revolutionary in our lives. If we took this to heart and lived in a constant recognition of who and what God brings us. If we practiced these meditations on our friends, we would be so open to new things, we would scarcely miss a blessing that God brings us and we would look at all new encounters with this possibility.
Or we can think of it while it is fresh and then the novelty will fade and we will forget all about it because it is only a message board thread that provided a worthwhile diversion for a time.
This is the difference I see...will we seize on something and wrest into our lives, or will we blink at the gossameer image and then wonder why God's blessings fleet so fast?
Much is lost for lack of asking. Yet our music video microwave minds will probably watch this fade before us like so many others.
