this dream was remarkable. i was w this guy who looked alot like michael cleary but wasn't. his father had died and we were carrying around body in a rolling crate, so we could properly bury him. it was a fast paced 'run lola run' type of dream with lots of people in it. there were just all kinds of things going on. this guy and i were rolling his father through these suburbs, having problems since the sun was real hot and it was heavy and the wheels kept sort of getting caught in th sidewalk cracks. anyway, there were places where the sidewalk slabs were not even and we'd have to lift up the body. then we finally got to this place we needed to get to, where i think we had to cross a road or a river and then we got down onto this cement slab which was huge and we wheeled his father into thie little shack looking place which was the funeral home/morgue. anyway, we rolled it into this room past this crowd of puerto rican kids, guys who were all hanging out in big, baggy pants and white tank tops. maybe their girlfriends too, and some babies. anyway, we rolled it in there, into that room. it had cement brick walls and a cement floor and there was some sand and grass on the floor and it looked real unsanitary. then we waited for the funeral home director to show up and in comes this really nice looking, young, incredibly friendly guy who was a us both in nice chairs and offerred us some snacks and some drinks. his office was filled with natural light and plants and good smells. it was like being back in the garden of eden. the crate looked horrible in their. like a beat up old gocart. then we started making arrangements for the burial and this guy stopped us and said "i'll bet you're wondering why this room is so much nicer than that other one" and we nodded. he told us that it was his little secret. he told us that people don't realize the priviledge of enterting into a greater life. they don't realize that the moment of their death is a great priviledge, provided they have prepared for it. this man he said was about to enter into eternity and it was his best day ever. his office was hidden since it was a treasure. he showed us a door on his north wall which was the door into the afterlife but we never went through it in the dream. anyway, i think he was going to take that coffin back there. that was the dream for the most part. i remember one point where he sits down in his chair, crosses his legs and begins to file his fingernails. he was very clean. i think he mentioned that his wife had also made him lunch that day.
