It a perfect explanation of the cyclic nature of suffering, and how attachment feeds the cycle.

As she said -- she was suffering greatly. When she got to the breaking point and let go of everything, she felt a great freedom and the suffereing was alleviated.

This is also what buddhism teaches --
That desire is the root of all suffering. Your attachments to things cause you to have desires towards them. Those desires are not realized, causing your suffering. And the suffering just causes more desire to be away from the suffering, and starts to feed on itself. To break the cycle, you have to let go of your attachments.
