Thanks Marcos, Glad you shared this. This is truly a place I have never heard of before. I appreciated knowing that such a place exists. Can you imagine only around 7000 inhabitants? Wow!
I guess they struggle w Canada for fishing rights. This must be awkward. The island sort of reminded me of a backward United Kingdom, w the larger island indented in the middle and a smaller one to the side. Now I'll always be aware of these islands, whenever I think of Newfoundland. You just updated my knowledge of not only geography but history as well. Thanks! Let me ask you now: why did St. Pierre et Miquelon interest you? And why did you select this place in the world to share w us? I would be interested in knowing that.
