In a practical sense I see the arguement
as follows:
Ga ga goo goo pfbbt da da da blah blah blah.
Nonsensical. Not only are the words above
as descriptive as the lines I hear grown
adults using to "entertain" their children.
If you disagree with my view on the baby's take.
Then I feel that we are at an impass.
I would assume that on the other hand that
the consensus for the general population is that
adults talking baby-talk is just plain annoying.
Correct spelling or not will not be an abuse to
my child. If I smoke inside my house my next door
neighbor should not care. But, If I smoke near
my neighbor you can betcha I'm violating their breathing
rights and space. Likewise adults should not speak
in public to their children with baby-talk.
It is vandalism and pollution of words. Much like that of
curse words. The intention is different but the effect
is equally as annoying.
