definitely christmas. i like the music. i like the decorations. i like going to a midnight service. the spookier, or, the more... hm. the more mysterious... the more like a dream, yeah, the better. christmas is a dark dream. i think of antlers and a roaring fire.

i like Bob's answer about this. most of the thoughts i really like all have to do with states. states of reality, like order existing in chaos. even perhaps slightly better is being IN a state, like being kinda hypnotized by a certain pattern of sound. floating in it, seeing something in it, having a kind of vision through it.

probably writing.

water. i grew up going to jacksonville beach every weekend. so its the ocean for me.

i learned from my dog very early on that animals have good hearts.

too much makes you a little insane. just the right amount makes you very healthy. not enough makes you a little insane.

my wife, my daughter, my friends.
