Yep, I've read just about every book Larry Niven has written. Some are awful, but some are quite good. The ones he did with Larry Pournelle are, in general, better than the ones he did solo. They mkae a good team.
And Earthsea Trilogy is a set of books by Ursula LeGuin.
Actually, its up to more than a trilogy now. She orinigally had it as a trilogy, but added a couple more novels, and recently, a book of short stories.
