First, thanks to Jason for putting sermon notes on the board. I understand that sometimes you just donīt get to it for whatever reason, and I personally would not want to be the one to put the pressure on you and make you feel burnt out. Iīm just thrilled when you do it, because itīs FOOD!

I love you guys! I totally, completely enjoy the groovy intellectual things, like the Thor and the rainbow and the Bessemer converter.

So, I need help. How many of us have walked into yur livingrooms and said, "I never noticed that before..." or gotten into our cars and had to go back into the house 3 more times before we could drive away--unless of course, like my grandmother, we drove away 3 times? Or got lost on the way to work, more than once? In a week?

Thought so, just me. Yep. My mom made me get the Nancy Drew cookbook, when I really wanted the Nancy Drew "How to Be a Detective," and she was right. God help anyone tied up in a basement waiting for me to rescue them. I`d get to the 96th step and lose my way.

So, I`ve bought books on this. From "How to Think Like Leonardo DaVinci," I have gone on to own 5 books and dozens of Mensa puzzle-books and cards. Still, I am the most scatter-brained person I`ve ever met. I have learned little ways of dealing with it. I leave myself e-mail messages and put stickies on my cigarette pack if I have to do something before I get home to my e-mail.

There you have it. My deepest, darkest secret (just donīt tell Dave Smith I said it was a secret!) But truly, how do you learn how to think? It feels like trying to make a car fly without altering the body. But there has to be a way.
