Friends love you unconditionally. Friends give of themselves just because they care about you. Friends love you when you can't find the strength to love yourself. Friends are there for you when your world seems to be crashing down around you. Friends forgive you when your evil twin rears its ugly head. Fortunately, friends benefit from the good times because they love you enough to endure through all the bad times.
My friend of the day is Mrs. Jennifer Cleary, and she doesn't even know it because she never reads the message board! She is steadfast in her friendship, regardless of the circumstances. She is able to see past the prickly thorns to the pretty flowers that each of us are capable of being.
